Well, they say a picture depicts a thousand words.
I love photography, it's one of the hidden hobbies I have.

This blog is created especially for my students, Secondary One students from Pasir Ris Crest Secondary.
I want to make Geography not only fun, but as interesting as it can get.

Who am I, you may ask.
I'm Ms. Tan.
 Who are you?

This is how it works:
1. Snap a really awesome picture (no cheating okay!)
2. Email the picture to me, Ms. Tan, at ms.nat.tan@gmail.com, along with a short paragraph explaining why you took the picture, or the story behind the picture. (Do remember to state who you are photographer, and what class you're from.)
3. Wait for me to upload it for you.
4. Share, by comments, or the tagboard.

Other rules:
1. Please preserve the copy write of any picture.
2. Snap the picture YOURSELF, be the photographer, not a ripper.
3. No Profanities in the comments.

The Sun is seen at the peak of an annular solar eclipse on the sky above Anyer beach, Banten Province, Indonesia, Monday, January 26 afternoon. During the solar eclipse peak, the moon shadows 92.82% of the sun surface. Some cheering and banging on drums as the moon slowly crossed its path, blocking out everything but a thin, blazing rim of fire.

CHOCOLATE HILLS

The Chocolate Hills is an unusual geological formation in Bohol, Philippines. It is composed of around 1,268 perfectly cone-shaped hills of about the same size, spread over an area of more than 50 square kilometres (19 sq mi). They are covered in green grass that turns brown during the dry season, hence the name.The Chocolate Hills is a famous tourist attraction of Bohol. It is featured in the provincial flag and seal to symbolize the abundance of natural attraction in the province. It is in the Philippine Tourism Authority’s list of tourist destinations in the Philippines; it has been declared the country’s 3rd National Geological Monument and proposed for inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
